What’s the difference between single and collated fixings?
Single fixings are loose and suitable for manual use or small jobs, while collated fixings are strips or coils for compatible auto-feed tools and nail guns.
Which wall plugs or anchors should I use?

What types of products do you offer?
We offer a wide range of products, including screws, nails, bolts, anchors, hand tools, power tools, and safety gear. We also provide specialized fixing solutions for various industries.
What would you recommend to Install a large tv to a dry lined wall (plasterboard on masonry work eg brick or block)?
Rigifix either M6 or M8 depending on weight please read data sheet. (Amazing product with huge capabilities)
Which screws are the best?
This answer depends on what you are planning to use the screws for (Think about the job you need them for).
General purpose/ are cheaper but generally harder to shear and can be screwed into pilot hole to stop splitting.
Cutting screws predrill and self-countersink themselves but in some circumstances like hardwood still require a pilot hole
Stainless steel designed for use in wet conditions or where oxidisation is unwanted but can be very brittle, so please predrill and pilot etc
What makes ultra-grime wipes so good?
In short from personal experience, they are just better, and bigger tougher and plastic pack lasts longer than the brittle plastic tubs very tough and easy to work with.
Could I send over a list of items for quoting that are not available on the website?
Yes please do, not all our product lines are yet uploaded on the website so any products you may be looking at or bulk orders. Please send to sales@alwaysfirst4fixings.co.uk
What are your delivery charges?
Delivery is Carriage Paid on Orders over £60+Vat for orders under this £5.95 charge will be applied at checkout Sent using Dpd with 1 Hour slot where Contact information is provided
The exceptions are the following Scottish & Irish postal codes and all International or offshore destinations. All of – BT, IV, KW, PH **AB except AB10, AB11, AB15, AB16, AB21 – AB25 **PH except PH1 – PH15 **PA except PA1 – PA19 and PO30 – PO41. Customers placing orders for delivery to these areas will be unable to order online but can contact the sales team sales@alwaysfirst4fixings.co.uk and organise bespoke courier pricing
What happens if the product I want is out of stock or there is not the full quantity that I require?
We Prefer to only ship full complete orders where possible. We aim to hold the majority of our stock listed on the website at our warehouse for next day delivery.
Where we have insufficient stock levels or something is out of stock we generally make contact by phone to discuss when all items will be in stock to dispatch or possible other options regarding delivery or products you are ordering.

Do you offer trade discount?
The majority of our customers are in the trade and therefore our website is already built around trade pricing.
However we may be able to look at a lower price for large quantity orders like pallets or bulk buy single items.
